.bg is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Bulgaria. It is currently operated by Register.bg .

There are some restrictions: .bg domains can be registered by Bulgarian companies and organizations, or foreign companies that have registered branches or commercial representatives in Bulgaria. The domain name have to represent the company name or its abbreviation. In general any name can be used if it is first registered as a trade mark at the Bulgarian patent office.

The price of domain registration is 50 USD one time setup fee and annual renewals of 50 USD per year. Some Bulgarian sites, are registered under .com, .org, or .net domains, where the registration costs are lower.
