A List Apart is a webzine (that is, an online magazine) created by and for web designers. It covers various timely topics of interest, and strongly advocates the use of web standards in the design process.

Abbreviated "ALA" by fans, their International Standard Serial Number is 1534-0295.

It was co-founded by influental web design lecturer Jeffrey Zeldman.
