Aisne River

Aisne is a river in France, tributary of the river Oise. It gave its name to the French département Aisne.

Its source is in the Meuse département, near the town Vaubecourt . It flows through the départements Meuse, Marne, Ardennes, Aisne and Oise. It flows into the river Oise in Compiègne. Its length is approx. 300 km.

Cities along the river include Sainte-Menehould , Vouziers , Rethel, Soissons and Compiègne.
