Alex Deakin

Alex Deakin (born North Ferriby , outside Kingston-upon-Hull, Yorkshire) is a weatherman for the BBC, broadcasting on British television and radio.

Deakin attended South Hunsley secondary school, he later went on to achieve a master's degree from the University of Birmingham in physics with astrophysics. Currently forecasting the weather for the BBC, he regularly appears on television impeccably dressed.

On August 23, 2003, he appeared on the BBC/Open University's Star Party television programme, which was broadcast live from Jodrell Bank Observatory. With his background in astrophysics and meteorology, he was asked to give reports on the type of weather that is experienced on Mars.
