Allen Fieldhouse

Allen Fieldhouse is an indoor arena at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. One of the legendary cathedrals of college basketball, the arena was named for Dr. Forrest C. "Phog" Allen, who coached the men's basketball team at KU for 39 years. The building was dedicated on March 1, 1955. It currently seats 16,300 for basketball, with 4,000 seats (as of 2004) for students only.

The building is famous for the fans' chant of "Rock, Chalk, Jayhawk, K-U."
