Arlon (Dutch: Aarlen, German: Arel) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Luxembourg, of which it is the capital. On January 1st, 2004 Arlon had a total population of 25,766 (12,765 males and 13,001 females). The total area is 118.64 km² which gives a population density of 217.19 inhabitants per km².
