Bahá'í World Centre

Bahá'í World Centre The name given to the administrative center of the Bahá'í Faith. Based in Haifa, Israel, the Baha'i World Centre is recognisable by the gardens that dominate the area of Mount Carmel directly above the sea port.

Structurally

Structurally, the Bahá'í World Centre covers all Bahá'í buildings in Israel. These would include:

  • The Monument Gardens
  • The Terraces
  • The old Western Pilgrim House
  • The old Eastern Pilgrim House
  • The Pilgrim Reception Centre
  • Various other buildings in Haifa and Akka

Administratively

Everything that is done in the Bahá'í faith on an international level is coordinated in the Bahá'í World Centre. These include decisions that affect the faith on a global level, the channeling of funds and interpretation of the Bahá'í Holy Writings.
