Binh Thuan (in Vietnamese, Bình Thuận) is a Province of Vietnam. It is located on the country's southeastern coast, not far from Ho Chi Minh City.
Inland, the province is quite mountainous, but there are also substantial areas of flat land towards the coast. Agriculture and fisheries are important industries in the province, and tourism is also a growing source of revenue. Binh Thuan is known for its scenery and for its good beaches. There are also a number of sites of archaeological significance.
Politically, Binh Duong is divided into eight districts: Bac Binh, Duc Linh, Ham Thuan Bac, Ham Thuan Nam, Ham Tan, Phu Quy, Tanh Linh, and Tuy Phong. The provincial capital, Phan Thiet , is a separate municipality.
