The Broadway Bridge in New York City links sections of Northern Manhattan together. Some believe that the bridge connects Manhattan and The Bronx. However, after crossing the bridge, a part of Manhattan is located on the Bronx Island . It is named the Broadway Bridge because it allows the street Broadway in New York City to continue to Westechester County .
The bridge also carries the IRT Seventh Avenue-Broadway Line at the uppermost portion.
