Charleston


Charleston is the name of a dance and of several villages, towns and cities in New Zealand, the United States and Scotland. There are also places with the related names of Charlestown and Charles Town.

New Zealand:

Scotland:

United States:

Several United States Navy ships have been named the USS Charleston.

Charleston is also the name of a house in Sussex, where the Bloomsbury painters Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell lived and worked.
