A clan of the Oirad Mongols. It is shared by both the Dorbed and Jungar tribes of the Oirads. The ancestral destan of the Choros resembles that of the ancient Uighur empire , and the Choros claimed to have persisted through the Naiman federation prior to the Genghis conquest.
