Chris Stein (born January 5, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York) is co-founder and guitar player in the popular group Blondie [1]. He was diagnosed with a rare and usually fatal genetics disease called Pemphigus in 1983. After a long battle with the disease, he fully recovered. As of 2005, he is still touring and recording music with Blondie.He married actress Barbara Sicuranza [2] sometime in the 2000s. They have one daughter, Akira.
