Colón (currency)

The colón is the currency of two Central American nations:

The Costa Rican colón is divided into 100 céntimos; the Salvadoran colón is divided into 100 centavos.

The Spanish-language plural form is colones, but most English speakers user the simpler plural colons.

Colones from Costa Rica and El Salvador have the same symbol, in Unicode its code point is U+20A1. the decimal representation is 8353.
