The Coronado National Forest includes an area of about 1.78 million acres (7,200 km²) spread throughout mountain ranges in southern Arizona.
Its ranger districts include:
- The Santa Catalina Ranger District near Tucson includes Mount Lemon and the rugged Pusch Ridge Wilderness Area
- The Safford Ranger District
- The Nogales Ranger District
- The Douglas Ranger District
- The Sierra Vista Ranger District
