Craig Counsell

Craig Counsell (born August 21, 1970 in South Bend, Indiana) is a Major League Baseball infielder who currently plays for the Arizona Diamondbacks and has a career batting average of .262. He has also played for the Colorado Rockies, Florida Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Milwaukee Brewers. He attended college at Notre Dame and won the 2001 NLCS MVP Award while on his first tour on the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Counsell is most famous for his funny looking batting stance where he raises the bat way over his head and waves it around.
