European Theatre Convention (ETC) was created in 1988. It is an association which represents 36 theatre companies and their artists in 21 European countries. ETC aims to foster the exchange of ideas, individuals and productions in order to improve inter-cultural knowledge. This results in a real and important European network of cooperation in the field of performing arts.
