The Farmington River is a small river located in the northwest of the US State of Connecticut. It starts in southwestern Massachusetts, and ends at the Connecticut River in Windsor, Connecticut.

It runs south through a number of small, rural Connecticut towns, where the river plays at least some factor in town activities and certain geographical elements, and then runs north and east until it meets the Connecticut River.
