Globular Cluster M2

Globular Cluster M2 (also known as Messier Object 2, Messier 2, M2, or NGC 7089) is a globular cluster in the Aquarius constellation. It was discovered by Jean-Dominique Maraldi in 1746. M2 has a diameter of about 175 light-years, contains about 150,000 stars, and is one of the richer and more compact globular clusters.
