Goat roping

Goat tying is a rodeo event that features a teathered goat and one mounted cowgirl. The cowgirl will ride up to the goat, hop off the horse, run up to the goat, throw the goat on its side and tie three of the goat's legs together with a goat string. The time is then stopped and the goat must stay tied for 5 seconds at which time the rider is given a time. The rider with the fastest time wins. See also calf roping.
