Hamada, Shimane

Hamada (浜田市; -shi) is a city located in Shimane, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 46,532 and the density of 286.19 persons per km². The total area is 162.59 km².

The city was founded on November 3, 1940.
