Hotel de Wereld

Hotel de Wereld (meaning the World Hotel) in Wageningen was the site of the capitulation of the German troups in The Netherlands on 5 and 6 May 1945, and the end of German occupation during World War II. This fact is remembered annually.

The Hotel has recently been fully restored, meaning you can now actually stay or have dinner again in this historic location.
