Ivan Fedorov (Fyodorov) (Ива́н Фё́доров) was the founder of book printing in Russia and Ukraine. He was also known as master of cannon making and inventor of multi-barrel mortar.

Together with Pyotr Mstislavets, he printed in Moscow the first Russian dated printed book Apostol on March 1, 1564. Later he worked in Belarus and Ukraine. In 1580-81 he printed the first complete Slavic Bible. It is known as Ostrozhskaya Bibliya, because it was printed on the premises of the estate of kniaz Konstantin Ostrozhsky at Ostrog, Ukraine. He died in Lvov on December 14, 1583 and is buried there. The monuments to him in Lvov were annihilated by the Ukrainian nationalists in 1997.
