Jan Garbarek

Jan Garbarek (born March 4, 1947) is a Norwegian saxophonist.

Frequent collaborators include Keith Jarrett, Gary Peacock, Miroslav Vitous, Zakir Hussain, Charlie Haden, and Ralph Towner . Most of his records have been released on ECM.

His jazz-album "In Praise of Dreams" was nominated for the 2005 Grammy Awards.
