John K. Tener

John Kinley Tener (July 25, 1863May 19, 1946) was an Irish-American politician who served as the governor of Pennsylvania from 1911 to 1915. Born in County Tyrone, Ireland, he was also a pitcher and outfielder in Major League Baseball in 1885 and from 1888 to 1890, and he later served as president of the National League.

Tener died at age 82 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
