Karen Lynn Gorney

Karen Lynn Gorney (born January 28, 1945) is an American actress, best known for her roles on television and film.

In the 1970s, the actress gained a name for herself playing Tara Martin on the soap opera All My Children. She became so popular that she was offered the role of Stephanie in Saturday Night Fever, alongside John Travolta. It was at this time that she left television for movies; while she was well-received in Saturday Night Fever, the results of this decision effectively sealed the fate of her career, and she didn't achieve the success she had hoped for.

In the 1990s, Gorney returned to All My Children in cameo spots.
