Kosova Airlines is the national carrier of Kosovo and links the capital Prishtina to major European cities. The airline was established in autumn 2003 by the United Nation's Mission in Kosova and the Kosovar Government. It is the first Kosovar airline, although Air Prishtina is another airline endevouring to get the status of a local Kosovar airline.
