This is a list of common American and BritishCommonwealth words and phrases based on racial, ethnic, religious, regional or other stereotypes. All should be presumed derogatory and offensive until proven otherwise.
African engineering , a euphemism for nigger-rigging (see below)
Irish confetti , a thrown or tossed stone or brick
Irish it up (i.e. put liquor into a beverage), alludes to the stereotype of the hard-drinking Irish
Irish twins, two siblings born within the same year (9 to 12 months apart) based on the stereotype that the Irish had too many children
get your Irish up (to lose one's temper), suggests that the Irish have difficulty with self control, often used in the phrase "Don't get your Irish up!"
JapaneseAgreement, term for supposed business agreements made with the Japanese that don't pan out, to appear concilliatory and polite Japanese businessmen agree to many things with Westerners during business meetings - but fail to follow through
Jap crap , Japanese-made motorcycles and cars, originally smaller and lighter than their American counterparts, and therefore presumably inferior.
Jap Play , a football term for a sneak attack, publicly used in 2004 by the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys
Jap Slap , a sudden unexpected slap across the face
Jew Down (anti-Semitic) term for negotiating a better price (ie: Jews never pay retail)
Jew someone out of something (anti-Semitic phrase which implies that Jews are cheats)
Jewish lightning , deliberately burning your house down to claim on the insurance
Kamikaze, an attack on others that ends up destroying one's self (from the Japanese practice in WWII)
Luck of the Irish , having no damn luck at all.
Mexican chrome , silver or metallic colored paint used to give an object the appearance of a chrome finish, typically used on car parts such as bumpers and wheels.
Mexican overdrive , coasting downhill in an automobile with the engine turned off

Mongoloid, Since people with the disability Down syndrome often share these traits, the term "Mongoloid" was once also used as a synonym for "retarded". This usage, once neutral, is now considered offensive.
Montezuma's Revenge, Diarrhea from visiting Mexico, or from eating Mexican food in other countries
New York snowball , a snowball with a brick or chunk of something hard hidden in the middle.
Nigger Chaser , term for a low yield firework that flys/bounces close to the ground and whistles until it pops
Nigger-rigged , described improvised or poorly-done work. The phrase Jury- or Jerry-rigged is now usually substituted.
Nigger Toes , a pejorative term for Brazil Nuts based on their resemblance to black toes
Polish roulette , just like Russian roulette but played with an automatic pistol instead of a revolver
polish shower to use spray on deorderant without washing first
Pramface , term of abuse aimed at, in particular, female pop stars from lower class backgrounds - contracted from 'a face more suited to pushing a pram around a council estate' (i.e. being a single mother on social security). Coined on the Popbitch website.
Puerto Rican blond , badly dyed hair, or a woman with the same
Red-headed Stepchild , a child who is obviously not your own, a child who is treated worse than other children in the family (for example "I beat him like a Red-headed Stepchild')
Turning Japanese, a term for excessive masturbation, based on the perception that men make a face where they squint their eyes and curl their lips to expose the upper incisors (resembling the stereotypical image of a Japanese)
Welsher (Welcher), from Wales, meaning "renege on a bet"
White slavery, historical practice of Arabs kidnapping whites for sexual slavery
White Trash, a term of insult to uncouth Caucasians
