The Malacca Town is also the Capital of the state of Malacca in Malaysia.

Malacca Town is a worthwhile place to visit. The Jonker's Walk displays a row of shophouses that displays Peranakan architecture. One can also visit Pulau Melaka , an island formed through land reclamation.
