Mar Chiquita is a lagoon in the southeast province Buenos Aires in eastern Argentina. It is because of the Atlantic coast in the environment of the bathing resort Mar del Plata.

Between 1968 and 1970 to the Laguna Mar Chiquita 8 sounding rockets of the types Arcas, two rockets of the types Orion-1 and a rocket of the type Dragon was started.
