Maria Wetterstrand (born October 2 1973) is a Swedish politician. Together with Peter Eriksson she is the spokesperson of the Green Party. She has been MP since 2001 and spokesperson since 2002.

Maria Wetterstrand is married with Ville Niinistö , a Finnish politician representing the Green League. Their son Elias was born in November, 2004.
