Naum Gabo

Naum Gabo (born Naum Pevsner August 5, 1890 - August 23, 1977) was a prominent sculptor in the Constructivism movement in Russia. He focused on the perfection of order and experimented with many different techniques. He changed his name to avoid confusion with his brother, Antoine Pevsner. In 1946 he moved to the United States, settling in the New England area to teach.
