The Royal Netherlands Army (Koninklijke Landmacht) is the land forces element of the Military of the Netherlands. The core fighting element of the army is divided into four separate brigades, three mechanised and one airborne.

Separate from the four brigades is the Korps Commandotroepen, the army's commando trained soldiers. The KCT itself is essentially another infantry battalion, with three fighting companies and an HQ/support company. It is used for special operations as needed.

The Divisie Logistiek Commando is the organisation responsible for overseeing the army's combat support services, with logistics and transport, ordnance and medical services coming under its control.
