Soviet Russia ("Советская Россия" in Russian, or Sovetskaya Rossiya) was a Soviet political newspaper.

Soviet Russia (SR) was first published on July 1, 1956. It became the principal press organ of the Supreme Soviet and Council of Ministers of the RSFSR on January 1, 1974. SR was published 6 times a week. The newspaper's circulation was 2,700,000 copies in 1975.
