Spencer Dock

Spencer Dock is a location in Dublin, Ireland. Located near the quays, it is part of the city's financial district.

A new railway station is planned in this location, providing a surface station for Iarnród Éireann's commuter train services, namely those from Kildare and Maynooth. The concept is part of IÉ's "Interconnector" plan, envisaging an underground link onwards to Pearse Station and Heuston Station. The reason for Spencer Dock station is to relieve Connolly Station, which is at or above capacity. The railway line from Sligo already passes under the northern line out of Connolly, it is expected that Spencer Dock would connect to this.
