The Five People You Meet in Heaven is a novel by Mitch Albom, published in 2003. A television movie of the same named was broadcast by ABC in 2004.

The story is of a man by the name of Eddie who dies trying to save a young girl's life on his 83rd birthday. He wakes up in the afterlife and discovers that in heaven, your life is explained to you by five people who changed your life's path forever.

The television movie version, was broadcast on December 5, 2004. It stars Jon Voight, Ellen Burstyn, Michael Imperioli, Jeff Daniels, and Dagmara Dominczyk.
