The Swarm was a straight edge, hardcore band that formed in 1998 in Toronto, Canada.

The original members included Chris Colohan (Ruination, The Cursed), Adam Bratt, Mike Maximuik, Kyle Bishop (Grade), and Matt Jones. The 10" Parasitic Skies was released on No Idea Records shortly after the band's formation. Internal conflicts then arose causing Kyle and Matt to leave. Christian McMaster and Lou Oliveras (Barrit) then took over on guitar and bass, respectively. No Idea Records released another 7", Old Blue Eyes is Dead, and the band finally parted broke up.
