Uch, also known as "Alexandria at the Head of the Punjab", is a historical city in Pakistan. Once it was very important city of ancient India. It is supposed that Alexander the Great and Muhammad bin Qasim conquered this city.

During the muslim period there was a university of Islamic studies. There are several tombs of famous mystics (Sufis).
