United States Strategic Command

United States Strategic Command is the component of the United States Department of Defense which controls the nuclear weapons assets of the US Air Force and US Navy. It is headquartered at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. One division, announced in 2005 is the Joint Functional Component Command for Network Warfare, which is responsible for protecting the computer network of the Defense Department and for launching attacks on other networks.
